Description : The flag of El Salvador was adopted in 1912, and is very clearly inspired by the flag of Argentina. It is a horizontal tricolour, with a band of blue at the bottom and the top, with white in the centre. In the middle of the flag is the coat of arms. Use this flag to celebrate important national events, or official occasions.
